Description

Pro Wax Silicone is GE's premium, long-lasting tyre and trim dressing, made with high-quality imported silicone wax. On tyres, it applies with a wet-look, high-gloss finish. On a vehicle in regular use, that wet look settles over a few days into a rich, natural black shine, comparable to a fresh factory tyre, and lasts around 7 days to weeks depending on use. On a showroom or display vehicle that remains parked, there is no driving to wear it down, so the full wet-look, high-gloss finish holds for a year or more, until dust gradually dulls it. In both cases the finish resists rain and water rinsing; the only factor that removes it prematurely is washing the tyre with soap, which strips the dressing.

On exterior black plastic and rubber, such as mudguards, black bumpers and trim, it performs differently. The silicone penetrates the surface to restore faded, whitened plastic to a deep, natural dark finish, rather than sitting on top as a wet, glossy coat. It also helps protect rubber and plastic against browning and cracking. Use it on exterior surfaces only: it is too oily for interior use, and for the engine bay, Spray Wax is easier to apply evenly.

Pro Wax Silicone is the premium tier of GE's tyre care range. For an affordable everyday shine, select Tyre Shine T-50; for a longer-lasting, higher-end finish, select Pro Wax Silicone. The two are alternatives and are not layered together.

How to Use

1. Wash the tyre or trim and wipe the surface dry with a cloth.
2. Pour a small amount onto a sponge.
3. Apply evenly across the surface, using a thin coat for a natural finish or a thicker coat for higher gloss, as preferred.
4. On tyres, keep the product off the tread.
