Description

Watermark Remover is a mild acid-based formula that chemically dissolves stubborn hard-water marks from glass, paint and chrome. It breaks down the mineral deposits left by water droplets before they can etch into the surface, removing marks that ordinary cleaners cannot.

Because it works chemically and acts quickly, it must be rinsed off promptly and never left to dry; if the product dries on the surface, the acid can etch the glass. It is a strong, professional-grade product. For a gentler, home-use alternative, GE Glass Compound removes water marks physically, using a cerium oxide polish rather than acid.

Watermark Remover is safe on glass, paint and chrome, and it can also be used on mirrors and headlight covers. Beyond the vehicle, it removes hard-water and limescale marks from household glass, such as windows and bathroom or shower glass doors and partitions. It can also be used on tinted windows and hydrophobic glass coatings; however, as films and coatings vary widely in composition, test a small, concealed corner first and proceed only once no adverse effect is confirmed. It is suitable for detailing professionals, automotive workshops, and experienced users treating heavily water-stained surfaces.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry the glass, paint or chrome surface completely, and work in shade on a cool surface.
2. Apply the product directly onto the affected area.
3. Gently wipe back and forth using the soft side of a sponge, allowing a short dwell time.
4. Rinse off immediately with plenty of water; do not let the product sit or dry on the surface.
5. Dry the surface and check the result; repeat if water marks remain.

On tinted windows or coated glass, test a small, concealed area first.
