Tar Remover (TR-X)

Description

Tar Remover is a solvent-based, ready-to-use remover that breaks down tar, asphalt, tree sap, bug residue and sticker glue from vehicle surfaces. It softens stubborn deposits within 30 to 60 seconds, allowing them to be lifted away without scrubbing and without leaving residue behind.

This is decontamination work rather than washing. It addresses the oil-based and adhesive contamination that car shampoo cannot remove, and it performs a different function from Iron Remover, which reacts with embedded iron and brake dust. In a full detailing process, use it after washing and before any polishing or coating.

Tar Remover has been tested safe on car paint, paint protection film (PPF), colour-change wrap, glass, rubber and plastic trim. It is suitable for car owners, detailing professionals and automotive workshops dealing with road tar, construction asphalt, insect residue, or leftover adhesive from badges and stickers.

Note: This is a flammable, solvent-based product. Use it in a well-ventilated area, away from heat, sparks and open flame, and apply only to a cool surface, never to hot panels or in direct sunlight.

How to Use

1. Wash the vehicle and allow the surface to cool. Do not apply to hot panels or in direct sunlight.
2. Apply Tar Remover directly to the affected area; no dilution is required.
3. Allow 30 to 60 seconds for the tar, sap or adhesive to soften.
4. Wipe away with a microfibre towel, or rinse off with a water jet.
5. Repeat on heavier deposits until the surface is clean.

Safety & Compatibility

Tar Remover is a flammable, solvent-based product. Use it in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from heat, sparks and open flame. Wear gloves and eye protection, and avoid breathing the vapours. Apply only to a cool surface, never to hot panels or in direct sunlight. It may affect soft wax and sealant layers, which should be re-applied after use; it does not affect hard coating layers. On wrap or PPF, test a small, concealed area first. Store out of reach of children.
