Water Coating (WT-C)

Description

Water Coating is a fluoropolymer-based hydrophobic spray that quickly adds gloss and water repellency across the whole exterior of the vehicle. On paintwork, it naturally brightens the surface and deepens the colour, so the finish looks richer and more vivid. On glass, it creates strong water beading that helps rain and water sheet away.

It can be used on paint, all glass including the windscreen and side mirrors, headlights, chrome, plastic trim and wheels. It is intended for exterior surfaces and is not suitable for interior use. On the windscreen it is safe to use and does not cause wiper juddering.

The water-beading effect lasts around one to two weeks, depending on how the vehicle is used and washed. Water Coating is a quick, spray-on product for gloss and water repellency rather than a permanent coating, so it is best reapplied to maintain the effect. It is non-greasy, and it can be used over an existing ceramic coating or wax without affecting them, which makes it a convenient way to top up gloss and water beading between full treatments.

It is applied to a dry vehicle for the best result, and can be diluted up to 1:4 for lighter, more economical maintenance. It is well suited to car wash shops, detailing shops and car owners.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry the vehicle completely, and work on a cool surface out of direct sunlight. Apply to a dry surface, as wet application is less effective.
2. Use it neat, or dilute up to 1:4 with water for lighter maintenance.
3. Spray a light, even mist onto one section at a time, whether paint, glass, headlights, chrome, trim or wheels.
4. Wipe it even immediately with a single clean microfibre towel until the surface is clear and streak-free.
